Hello, my fellow Americans, all who are seekers, thinkers and defenders of the good in life! This is Naomi Silverthorn, author of The Ten Commandments of Political Office.
Naomi is my pseudonym and alter ego. I am just an average American woman with a firebrand patriot deep inside of her, having come from a long line of originating colonists and a traditional American family.
This blog is about truth…truth in our lives and truth in government. And the truth is, our Democratic Republic, our freedoms, and our free way of life is vanishing because a once great society with a government of the People, by the People and for the People has become a regime of deceitful oligarchs who bow to global monied interests. Government is broken, America is in decline and the common citizen is in trouble.
What can we…what can YOU do about it? How do you protect your life, your liberty, and your right to the pursuit of happiness?
All the positive change that we desire for our lives and for this nation starts inside of each one of us. We cannot look to political parties or the endless parade of charlatan, cookie-cutter candidates that these parties promote, for these are the very mechanisms that have created the precipitous decline of our democracy. We have to see through the facade and stop acting like sheep that do not think for themselves.
We have to learn that we have the power. While that may seem an obscure statement, when you realize that all your life you’ve been trained to bow to external power and not believe you had any inside of yourself, you will begin to know what I’m talking about. We were not meant to live in servitude or compliance with false authority. Within each one of us is a leader, and you must begin to lead.
It’s time to become empowered individuals, not cowering in fear and conformity, and then join hands with other enlightened souls across the spectrum of our society to make America what it was established to be. Politics will not save us: hearts and hands united, will.
Whatever way you choose to come to the aid of this nation in a participatory manner, I urge you to do so, and quickly. There is no time left to opt out, for your freedom is being taken away as you read these words. The nation…the world…needs you now. Speak up; get active; stand up; refuse false authority, excessive, wrongful laws and corrupt “leadership.” Make America live again. Make freedom real again. Leave a legacy of greatness and liberty for all who come after us.
